My mom first impression was that it is not very colorful.
What captured her attention was the post with our picture that was in a blue font color.
Nothing really distracted her.
Her suggestions to improve my blog was more of my own creativity colors, pictures, different fonts.

I wrote 8 posts from March to now. 6 of my posts were for set challenges the other two were for school. There was two comments all together. It’s a tie between Hobby and Week 7 Leadership Roles. I think it got the most because someone wanted to tell me that there is more leadership roles than the one I named. My favorite post to write was Week Six How to make Scrambled Eggs because I never knew how to make food until I leaned how to make scrambled eggs. I have not but I think I will change it soon because it looks boring. I have seven widgets on my blog. I have no oversea students on my blogroll.

What makes a great family? Well in my family when we do stuff with each other like hiking or playing a game together is when I feel like a great family.  When my family looks after each other when someone is sad or sick also is a great family. When we celebrate each other’s accomplishments in school or sports and we cook or walk the dogs together and have a good time is special family time.

In my family, if we argue with one another we apologize soon after. Once my mom and I were yelling at each other and after I felt bad and apologized to her. And if we are having a bad time or something bad is happening to one of us, we tell each other. Like when I was sad about failing in school, I told my parents I was afraid of failing them and we put some standards of when I have to do my homework and when I have to finish it.

Family also means we do what our parents tell us the first time and do not get mad at what we have to do. When someone listens to our ideas and does not just throw them away because we are children makes a great family because everyones opinion matters.  An example is when my dad and I were assembling a chair, he put the arm on backwards and I read the directions and showed him how it should be done. A great family also helps out like when one of us takes the initiative and makes ourselves some food when our parents are too busy to make us something to eat.

A great family also includes pets.  I have two dogs, Shiloh and Kingsley, and sometimes they don’t get along but they bring us closer when we are all sitting together and petting them.

What do you do at break times? Games, activities etc?

I play basketball with my friends during break time.

What time do you normally get up to go to school?

I usually get up at 6:00 A.M.

How many days per year are you at school? How is this arranged – terms etc?

By my estimates about 280 days at school. We have three trimesters.

Technology in your school?

We have computers and iPads

Some of the leadership roles are the student council President, Vice President, Treasure, and Secretary. No I would not like to take over a role because I do not think I would be a very good role model and I think I would struggle between doing that and schoolwork.

How to make a scrambled egg.

Step 1 Crack two eggs in a bowl,
Step 2 add some salt and pepper then whisk them with a fork.
Step 3 Put a little butter in a frying pan, turn on heat to medium and add eggs.
Step 4 Cook for a few minutes then flip and cook other side for a few minutes.
Put on a plate to eat. Presto you have a scrambled egg.

A hobby of mine is to play basketball, I play in a basketball league with my friend Nick at a local park. We somehow got on the same team even though there was around 50 different people there trying out.

I am going to put more effort into writing my blogs from now on.

I leaned that there is copyright for dances, plays, and books. I learned that copyright used to last for fourteen years, then a lifetime and seventy years after death and for a company, one hundred years. I also learned that you can use something that has copyright if you teach with it, use it in the news, or a in a parody, and as a critical comment. Copyrights includes the nature, amount used, and market value of a idea, product or performance.
